Really tho, the xB header is a piece of cake to install as long as you have the collector bolts needed. I reused my stock donut and the install (taking my time) was under an hour. The only real pain is working between the firewall and motor. It does help to have the front end up on jack stands so you can use a long extension on the lower connection.
I hope I get all the bolts and necessary parts.

Yeah it comes right off depending on how rusted the bolts are. Worse case the bolts break off. No biggie there either unless you want to ever put the stock header and shield back on.

I was referring to the heat shield bolts. The heat shield doesn't get mounted with the new header.

There is a bunch of space between the firewall and header so nothing will get melted. The heat shield is more of a safeguard by the factory incase something from the road (like a walmart bag) lands on the header and starts a fire.
