No power, rough Idle, 3 CEL's
Ok helping out a friend with a Scion XA 2005
He overheated to the point of blowing the head gasket between cylinders 1 and 2.
Block checked out ok with .0015 out of flat the head was a different story with it being .006 out of flat.
Machined the head flat and had the valves checked out. All 16 valves got a good blue check and sealed properly.
Also replace IAT sensor, Maf sensor, Plugs, Changed oil and filter
Re-assembled the engine, (timing chain is a pain if you don't have a manual)
and upon initial start up I got P0113, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304
screen shot show IAT at -40F. Also smoking heavy white....
Shut it down after 10-15 seconds. checked oil for coolant.... still pretty and clean, coolant shows no oil in it either.
disconnected battery and then grounded the positive cable to clear computer.
Restarted the car. Still rough idle. No smoke, 3 DTC's P0300, P0302, P0303,
Compression isn't within 10% cyl #1 195 PSI, #2 175 PSI, #3 180 PSI, #4 215 PSI.
Vacuum is REALLY low at a steady 14 inches at idle.
No vacuum leaks were found using brake cleaner and soapy water.
I am stumped, swapping coils around didn't change the behavior at idle and the DTC stayed 0300, 0302, 0302
any new direction for troubleshooting would be appreciated.

If you cant get the miss to move around by swapping injectors, coil packs, or spark plugs then it seems there was damaged done by over heating. Compression looks low with the exception of cyl 4. Might be time for a motor swap. I just did mine on 05 xb. Found a 100k mile used motor for 400$.
