Cool deal they covered it
I've noticed mine isn't as "peppy" lately but i was planning a full tune up
maybe i'll mention that when they are doing the other work ..... and it will be covered under the power train warranty
Even if i'm the 2nd owner with 45k on the odo i should be good right?

The powertrain warranty begins from the original date of purchase (In service date) and will go until 5 years after that, or until the car reaches 60k miles.
If it the car was purchased as a Toyota Ceritified Used Vehicle (TCUV) it then has the 7 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. The same rule applies, 7 years from the in service date, or until it reaches 100,000 miles.
TypeX if you're losing power, maybe a set of plugs would go a long way to regain what was once had. You may also want to consider a fuel system service. Tune ups are not covered under warranty just as an FYI.
