Exclamation PTUNING: 1NZFE Turbo System for the xA/xB!

----------------------------------------------

PTUNING custom xB turbo kit on a STOCK, maxed out 1NZFE motor making 156whp on our DynoDynamics dyno. This xB BONE STOCK put down 86whp. This customer will eventually go with our PTUNING built short block, at which time we will tune it for 300+whp on pump 93!

Stay tuned!

Side note; the horsepower was insane for 4psi and running the factory cat.

How does this affect tuning? I like the idea of running a BOV without converting to a map sensor. I am currently running a recirc. hose with my mass air on the suction side.

Compared to a draw thru setup , tuning is the same concept . Benefit to a blow thru design is not having stalling issues when the bov vents (unmetered air), and you could have a charge pipe pop off and stil have a running car. A Greddy map sensor was used however for better tuning capability .

I see that it is valued at 6k. Is that the price or just value?

The kit posted above MSRP's at $6,250.00 out the door. The more basic kit falls into the $5,250 area.

That application was tuned using the Greddy Emanage blue. We have also tuned the xB1 using AEM FIC and Haltec Sprint 500.

not trying to rain on your parade or anything. but is there really a profit in making a turbo kit for 1 nzfe? its such a niche market. anybody in this forum would be smarter to just buy a bigger motor and swap it in then spend 6 grand on a kit.

That is exactly why each kit is built to order.
