Default Avic-N1

Can the Avic-N1 be installed on the Scion TC?

If so are there any avaliable pictures to see how its looks opened and closed

Not without removing the door. Problem is, no matter where you move the head unit...in or out, when the AVIC opens, the door to the TC gets in the way and prevents the AVIC from opening all the way. If you move the AVIC out more so the screen opens all the way, then the door doesn't close on the TC.

I ended up taking the door off, cutting about 3 inches off it and sliding it back in and superglue to stick it. The door does not operate, but the flip up worked just fine. Then, someone seen this, smashed the window and ripped it out. After repairing all the damage, I installed a AVIC-D1 and replaced the door. Now, hiding the radio is a priority.
