Very nice DIY writeup buddy. Your xA looks pretty sweet!

Oh, and to answer mitchelltc1, no, they do not make them for the tC. These were apparently created whenever Scion first came out when there was only the xB and xA.

I installed these yesterday. My kit didn't come with any adhesive strips for the actual overlays so I just used some permanent double sided tape. I wired them up almost exactly as explained here, except I used the white wire w/black stripe on the HVAC harness as ground instead of a dashboard mounting bolt. Everything works as it should and they look great. THANKS for this write-up, b/c the included instructions are definitely weak. It was hard to notice if they were coming on at first just because I was parked outside in direct sunlight, but after messing with the brightness and color settings I could tell it is was working. I've got an 06 so both the speedo and tach needles are illuminated, but the gas gauge needle isn't, and is kinda difficult to see at night. Other than that, these overlays are nice!

Nah, I could take some but they would just look identical to the pics in this thread, except for the clock is white instead of green (should be the same for you since you have an 06). Let me know if you have any questions about the install, but pretty much all the info you need is in this thread.
