Default mp3 problems

Hey, I just got my xB about a month ago and noticed the mp3 icon on my c.d player. I work around car stereos all the time and I'm stoked that my stock stereo has got it already built in, but it won't play past 45 songs. I am using iTunes on my macintosh to burn the mp3's and I need to know what to do about this problem. Going on a trip soon need music or I will be angry!!

Please help

Try a different type of cd or burning program...I have a mp3 disk in now that has 55 songs and works fine...if you need a free program looks here www.download.com they have many free ones. hope this works.

I also use nero for my MP3s never had a problem and all I gotta say is put it in folders(easier to navigate the songs) its either my genre(rap/rnb/dance/pop) or by artist or albums. I have over 200 songs on one cd at 128kbs. I treat each folder as a regular CD so each folder has about 15-22 songs. Maybe there's a cut off in tracks on the player but never had that problem cause of the format I use.

Hope this helps,

I have a mac also and burned a cd using itunes, has 99 songs on it, it plays fine. I also used the built in burning software to burn a cd with folders and it plays fine too!

I tried burning another mp3 disc last night, one on itunes and one just as a regular data disc, the data disc one worked but the itunes disc did not. Both had the same amount of songs on them. About 205 songs. Am I doing something wrong with itunes?

Steps I take: 1. Select the MP3 DISC in the preferences.
2. Place all the songs I want into a playlist.
3. burn the disc.

Thats it, and the itunes disc works on every car stereo, that plays mp3's, at my work.

IS that not strange??
