Question xA blue interior illumination??

Hello all,

As I'm a new scion owner I was messing around in my car the other day and I found a switch by the e-brake labled "illumination". My curiosity peaked I pushed it and the interior started to glow blue. Cool as heck, but I noticed only half of the lights are working. The drivers side does not light up like the passenger side. I looked through the owners manual and can't find anything about it, checked the forums on a thread about it, but I didn't see anything. Any ideas on this? Is it aftermarket? Is there a separate fuse for the driver side?

Thanks for the help!

Most likely aftermarket parts added by a previous owner. It's not a factory option. As to fuse location, that's impossible to answer without looking at the car / installation. There should be at least one fuse, but I've seen some pretty hacked installations in my time - some with no fuse protection at all. Unfortunately, you'll just have to crawl around with a flash light and test light to see what's going on.

it's a dealer install option. if the switch is in the middle console the fuse would be under the console
