Default xB front speakers...I can't figure out how to remove them

If anyone knows how to get the factory speakers out of the front door, I'd appreciate some advice.

I got the door panel off no problem, but I can't see how the speakers come off. There's three metal things holding them in, but no screw holes, etc. And they don't seem to pop off - I jammed a screwdriver down the side, and they're really tight. Any ideas?

TIA,
Scott

There are 3 rivets that need to be drilled out. New spacers need to be made to mount a new speaker in.

DRILL THE CENTER OF THE RIVET OUT. AND THEN MAKE THE SPACER, WHEN I MADE ALL THE SPACERS FOR ALL THE XB'S THE DEPTH IS .75 OF AN INCH YOU CAN GO TO 1 INCH IF YOU NEED TO.
