Default Eibach Springs Installed..Before & After Pics ...L@@K !

Check it out..
I took pics before and after I installed the Eibach Pro Kit Springs (with bump stop)
I took the same angle to compare the difference in lowering.

Keep in mind, Eibach on the instructions claims it takes 2 weeks for springs to settle.
I will also place those pics after 2 weeks to see if its true.

if your car is too low in the back, PM me and I will tell you how to remedy that. I took care of that on Scionjohn 's car. His car was lower in the back with his eibach, but mine wasn't. I have eibachs too. It is really wierd. :? Still man, looking good there, now you need some 18s. :D

I'm also doing Eibachs so if you could post the remedy or PM me that would be much appreciated. Hey Inazuma how did you do the clear corners. I know on my headlights you actually had to remove the marker from inside the headlight and cut it up in the housing so it fit out the bulb opening.

ok, ok, here you go. On some of the first generation Eibachs the rear is lower then the front. To remedy this you have to cut half a coil off on the front springs. This will make your ride even on the wheels. I hope this helps, I have already done the procedure to scionjohns car.

Did u take off half a coil from the top or the bottom of the spring?
What did u use to cut the spring? Back in the day my friend had a makita rotor with a cutting blade.

Damn I wish i would of known before..I feel lazy to take apart the assembly again.

Mr. Gabe cut from the top of the front springs. Actually he used a circular chop saw, the same ones that he uses for cutting the our custom pipes. You can also use the makita rotor saw that you have mentioned. He did not used any measurements to cut each springs to exact half a coil. Just eye-balled it! We compared each halves of the cut pieces just to see if he cut was even. To my surprise it's dead even. I think that is how he got that smile on his face. I think that a 3/4 of a coil would give a little forward rake looks and if you are really aggressive, try 1 full coil removal! Depends on what looks you want to give on your XB! Sorry I do not have any before and after pictures of my XB. I think that Mr. Gabe (Stylis) or Mr. Ted (bBted) might have one. You can PM these person. I do not have a digital camera. Good luck!

ok someone please help me understand this:

Why does eibach lower in this manner?
Front 1.6
Rear 1.8

When the xB is stock, the rear already sags.
why would eibach want to lower the rear more than the front?

Am I not catching something here?

Shouldn't it be the other way around? a litlle lower in the front to even it out?

Default Optical Illusion

Your car is sitting even now. I saw it and it looks killer. Much better than your old 4×4 box look... lol. When you look close and compare the front & rear, keep in mind that the rear wheel sits in alot more than the front wheels so they look smaller even though they are not. This especially holds true with the factory wheel covers.
