Will any Echo struts/shocks fit the xb?
i'm not too sure, i think the 02 might be diff from the 03. We use the 02 for the echo with the monroes. and yes ppl have used the konis look in this area someone has posted the part # for them.

fyi, i had the eibachs on mine and they were good. i changed my springs because my wife didnt like it lowered. so i put the stocks back on. that lasted about a couple of months and i bought megan springs. dropped it 2" all around.

Thanks for the fyi on the Eibachs. I don't have a wife to worry about anymore: a good thing considering the amount of $$ I'm throwing at this box (that's a direct quote from the ex)! I'll do some more searching on the KYB question, but this noob welcomes any more opinions.

The stock rear shocks are already KYB. I don't know id they are equivalent to the GR2, but they are what everyone is wanting to get rid of for a smoother ride.

Good point on the stockies being KYB. I think I'll start cheap with the Monroes in the rear and go from there. Thanks for the input.

that is true. I meant to say that most put monroes or koni's.

Thanks RaginCajun. I think I may as well do the whole set of Monroes while I have everything apart for the springs. With the set of Monroes being $50 or so less than just the Koni Yellow rears, can't go wrong. That'll leave me with some stockies with only 1500 miles on 'em for spares.

I cant actually vouche from presonal use on the front monroes. All I can go by is other users who like them.
