tanabe df210 colors

I saw achart on another forum listing df210's as white, then a light purple later. The ones I see on ebay are red. Does this signify anything?

If im not mistaken..they changed over the years..I have white ones that are old ones..new ones are red..guessing purple is sometime in between..but same springs..just diffrent color powder coats
