Pics would help if anyone has any of not just give me a word and I'm all ears! No wires right just plug and play style?
Thanks

....EASY.....
I'm hoping that you paid about $70 on eBay and got the OEM fog lights for the xB. Most of these fogs have kits with switch and relay.
Short answer: The switch fills any one of the switch knock-outs above the ash tray. The wiring for this is already pre-installed.
For both lights and the switch, look and reach in there, about 10 inches of slack wiring is 'tied' so it will not swing around if not connected.
Pull firmly and the wire connector will release and give you all the slack you need to reach the switch and the lights.
You will need to remove these wires to remove the bumper cover from now on.
The tricky part is plugging the relay into the back side of the fuse panel.
I used a small mirror to see how this relay plugs in. There are instructions floating around here, I will see if I can find the link.
I whittled down my fog light covers so that they fit over the working fog lights. Day time rock blockers. Save your blinds, people want them often.

There is also a mod, from this site that shows you how to re-wire the switch so that it is HOT.
The relay is what makes them work legally (in most states). They turn off when high beams are on. The don't work with parking lights, only low beams allow fogs to light.
The mod grounds the switch so the fogs work at any time, even when car is off. But there is no 'lights are on' warning when door is opened.
I will look for some instructions (with photos) and that wiring mod.
Want to re-wire the side markers so that they stay on when lights are on and still blink? We've got a mod for that too.
JDM style lights have a lit switch, but the Japanese Domestic Market lights will need to be re-wired to get that switch to light and work.
EXCELLENT DIY for fogs... see illustrations first.....

HOT SWITCH MOD Note: you may not want or need to do anything other than ground that switch. This whole mod will allow ‘lights on’ warning to work with open door. See photos 9-13.

sweet, i am such a noob at stuff like this...it is an easy switch and will existing wires work for the new bulb?
Would these bulbs work: http://www.amazon.com/9006-10000K-Xe.../dp/B001GP0FJ4
I notice in the addl. pictures that there are wires attached to the bulbs...are those req'd for install?
ok, after some research, i guess i have to have a ballast for each HID bulb so imma get the conversion kit once i get some fogs. i am assuming this will be perfect for the fogs: http://www.amazon.com/JLM-HID-Conver...=pd_sim_auto_1

I'm so glad to have found this. Didn't realize the wiring already existed when lamps weren't installed.
No kidding! This is why I now have fog lamps, because somebody stole the blank covers and buying a pair of lamps was cheaper than buying a pair of those blinds and painting them the correct color. It's also a little more difficult to steal the lamps than the blanks.
