Default LED tail lights

WARNING! Do not buy any tail lights from SPYDER AUTO. I had bought a set of SPYDER LED tail lights from carid.com. They sat new in the box for awhile. I needed quite a bit of body work done before I wanted to install my nice new tail lights. I installed them and I found I kept blowing the break light fuse. A few times to be exact. I called spyder, told them about the lights, and to my surprise, they had no clue what lights I was talking about. In the end they said, sorry, bye, bye. So now, I'm stuck with $250 worth of crap. Buyer beware.

I'd recommend contacting carID, if you haven't already.

Are your OEM brake light bulbs "7443 CK" ? If so you will need to modify the contacts on your new lights. Or change the brake light socket to a standard 7443.

I've got a 2012 tC. This is a common issue with LED conversion.
