Why aren't my OEM replacement wipers like the OEM wipers that came with my xB?
Just got a 2010 RS 7.0 xB that needed wipers replaced all around. I ordered the OEM rear wiper first and it came in and looked exactly like the stock wiper that was on the car. However when I ordered the OEM replacemet wipers for the front (expecting replacements that looked just like the stock wiper) the Toyota OEM replacements looked thin and completely different, almost looked like the cheap Anco wipers in the blue and yellow package you find at Walmart. I took them back and the guy at the dealership assured me I recieved OEM replacements, and even brought out another set with the same result.
I guess my question to anyone who might know, is why does the OEM replacement wiper differ from the stock wiper? I want a new set of wipers that look like the ones that came with the car, not some cheap, cheesy exo skeleton frame looking replacements. I was told my stock replacement wiper part numbers were 85212-yzz07-tm and 85222-yzz12-tm. These look nothing like the stock wiper though. Any help would be appreciated.

ive had the same problem with my dealer trying to sell me the junk
since im an auto parts guy i did some digging and found out the blades are made by denso and are called "designer" blades
they are availble special order at advance auto or amazon and are priced well
these blades are the best ive ever used, it is not uncommon for me to get people with 2+ year old toyotas with the original blades
best part is when the rubber does wear out u can get the rubber refill from the dealer for around $6 each
