what? you did that without a search warrant?

or do you need hood locks in order for a warrant to be needed?

good story by the way....

CHiPs, such. I want to visit the city named after a whales V, but crossing the border is a risky endevore even with documentation proving the after market parts are CARB legal. The local cops get a real hard on for AZ plates, and the time spent with my ___ on cold concrete is real discouraging. It helps to have a face pushing 40 and the confidence that comes with being 10+ years older than your average bear.

How loud is your TRD intake compared to the stock one?

Now for the cai = police title.
when i took it around the block to see how it sounded and what kind of power increase i got out of it, i got on it a little hard and to my dismay there was mr. police man hiding in the dark waiting for speeders. luckily i wasn't speeding. it was a 50 and i was doing like 49 or 50 so i was cool. so im cruisn' and all the sudden like 2 miles down the road i look in the rear view and the same cop is pulling me over. i thought to myself WTF?!?!?!?!??!
so i pulled over and put my hands on the steering wheel and waited for him to come talk to me.
when he came up to my window he asked me to slowly pop the hood and then slowly get out of the car. I said yes sir and did what he asked. he then instructed me to sit on the curb. after he looked around at the inside of my car he said "so what illegal modifications do you have done to this car?
i said with shock in my voice. illegal modifications sir?
he said yes, when you pulled away from that stop light your car was very much louder than a stock vehicle hence the reason i pulled you over
i said with confidence, sir nothing illegal is done to this car what so ever.
at this point i'm still sitting on the curb and he walks to the front of the car and pops the hood.
like a child on Christmas his eyes lit up when he saw my bright shinny new trd cai gleaming in the amber street lights.
he asked me, so no illegal modifications huh?
i said no sir nothing illegal at all.
he asked me, so what is this intake then?
i said sir if you don't mind please look at the front of the hood next to latch.
then he freakn' saw this BAD BOY!

he looked soooooo freakn' ____ed. he got on his radio and said something but i couldn't hear.
he then told me i was free to go and got back in his patrol car and took off.
so the lesson here is if you get the cai put the sticker on like to directions say!

sorry for the long post i just thought it was a great story

cliffs........cop = pwnt!
