camcon vvti tuning controller?
i heard of this before so i decided to do some research on it. i found that mainly tC owners have been doing this to their cars. seems like they are producing some nice gains from it, even more so with headers, exhaust and intake.
apparently it can control the a/f for those guys who are juicing or boosting and it can control when vvti kicks in.
i didn't find anything for the xB, so I was wondering if anyone had ventured into this tool yet with our toasters?

i got one and hooked it up about a week ago but i am having a problem
when it is turned off my car runs like normal but when i cut it on it throws a CEL for cam position senor malfunction
the other odd thing is if im moving down the road and cut it on it wont throw the cel until it sits at idle for a few seconds.
I have checked the wiring a few times and have a obd2 data logger hooked up but have not had the time to get it working right.
*edit*
i just checked part numbers and the sensors are the same from 05 TC and 08 XB

My buddy had one on a tC for a while. He ran a modified base tune for a while...just something we came up with. He got it dyno tuned which made it feel somewhat better. He took it to a track and ran it off and then on . . . same time.
He sold it . . .
I don't think this really gives you any power, only allows for better control of the a/f with nitrous and other mods.

got mine working today ended up needing to replace the wire connectors.
I haven't been out much but with the baseline they give you it fells alot better in the mid-high rpms.
There is a new place that opened less than a mile from me that has a dyno, so the next step is to find out how much it is going to run me to get it all tuned up
