Default squeaky brakes

Sooo my driver side back brake started squeaking about a week ago. I had a friend sitting with me that pulled the e-brake on a turn.

Could that could of caused the squeak?

Also, warranty issue?

thx....

warranty means that the dealership will repair a manufacturer defect at no charge, but driver or passenger abuse is not covered.

Well ya but would the dealer be able to tell if it was the e-brake?

and could the e-brake cause this?

possibily.

on alot of cars these days, the ebrake is a separate small rear brake drum inside the hub of the rear brake disc. so it could be that.

now would yanking the ebrake cause this to happen, i don't know for sure, but who knows.
