Default Strup Header and Exhuast on my xB **PICS ADDED**

Ok so heres what happened. I tackled the header first. Remove the head shields and the 2 lower bolts on the engine block. Remove top 5 bolts.... left pass lower bolt was a pain, broke a few tools and smashed some fingers had to use a 1/4 deep socket with a swivel extension with a socket wrench to get more leverage. Left the bolts up top loose but still on and removed the 2 lower spring bolts. Came out fine. Insert the new bracket to move the oil dipstick away from the motor. Take off lower donut and put it on the Strup. Bolted right up fit snug. I started the car up and didnt notice much sound difference very very slight, that made me happy.

Next the exhuast remote the old 2 bolts on each section, take off the hanger brackets. The mid pipe take the hanger off the pipe, the rear take the hanger off the car then the pipe. Put it all up bolt it in, dont forget the gasket and done.

The sound when it was all done was a little deeper and stronger sounding but not like a damn honda all raspy and sounding like a fart car. All in all I love the sound its almost like stock and cant stand that hum on long trips.

New Vinyl wo0t

Looks great, sounds great, performs great, 2 thumbs up from me

Ill take a video clip with sound on my camera but someone else will have to host it and post it up for me.

I also have cold air intake just so you know might alter the sound a little.

Awesome, I've been thinking about getting the 962's. Can't wait to see pics of the exhaust with the 5 Axis kit. I plan on getting the 5 Axis kit after I get wheels (hopefully soon).

Since I'm too lazy to search for my old post, here's the link to the vid.
Strup header and Exhaust w/TRD cai

apoligies for the poor video quality, and I really need to get around to getting it recorded while driving, much nicer when it's under load.

**EDIT** Ill post a better vid later

Funny cuase the sound clips sound just like stock..... just a little deeper..... sound clips are kinda pointless when you can turn your car on and listen to it then just imagine you switched the header and exhuast and tada..

no real stock clip there unfortunately, the header was there in both of em. I need to borrow a DV so I can get a better quality clip. Thats just movie mode on my digital camera. And it really dosent have a mic that's worth a crap. You can hear where the audio gets clipped.

Default Strup...

You have one of the best looking sw xbs. The stance is perfect. Did you use spacers at all? What kind of tires are you running? Thanks.
