Stock is brighter....
You should change the indicator too....

With neo bulb, it doesn't light up evenly and selector indicator barely lights up...
As you see from the picture below....
I guess this is my profession, so I like to make it work as good as stock or better......

I'm confused, does this replace the existing gauge or overlay them? If it does overlay, won't you have problems with the backlighting on the amber parts?

it replaces the existing gauge face and Sean has also done a swap of LEDs entirely on the interior so they no longer light amber, they light blue.

The reasoning is, if you use the stock gauge face overlay with the amber color, anything you shine behind it color wise will have an amber tint to it. So the blue led light ends up looking greenish.

With a new gauge face, the spots that were amber are no replaced with a new color. I believe Sean is using either white/clear or smoke, which allow essentially any color to pass through it.

It allows for endless possibilities in terms of LED lighting colors.

Good explaination...
As long as you use white, silver, smoke for the lighted area, you can use any LED color... they are neutral color, so basically you can use any LED color...

Did you get all the kinks worked out on these things? I know you said some of them didn't fit quite right.

Yes, first prototype gauge face was slightly longer...
I've resized it and it fits perfect...

I would like to do some personal testing before I decide if I want to use normal led/pcb or led bulbs. Can anyone tell me which bulb exactly from autolumination I need to get? Is it one of the a/b/c types, or the one thats farther down the page that just says "17022 Neo - Wedge Instrument Panel Bulbs 12mm". I tried to use a 74 type led bulb that I had from my tc but it did not work. Thanks.

Back lighting is same szie for 3 *****...
For the shift indicator back light, it doesn't light up well with LED bulb replacment....
Bulb is mounted it perpendicular to the area that lights up....

What's the price on your guages? I'm looking at the one that's in the middle of your avatar, the all black with the white circles. Thanks!

Yeah dude! That price is kinda steep imo.....

You give any club discounts? 10%, 25%?

I'm really interested in the Style 4 that you replied with and I know that if you came over to the dark side and gave some kind of discount you could probably get some Scikotics to get some too.
