I'm waiting to find out. If I can get the dealership to install nice looking subs in those C-pillar spots then I'll get them. If there isn't a C-pillar sub option then I'm just going to get the cheap-o-looking C-pillar storage nets from the Sparks website.
I think it's a speaker kit for the c-pillars, not a sub. I read it somewhere, but I can't remember where, and I definitely haven't seen any pictures of it yet.

I did some research and it seems the part number for the "Subwoofer Kit" is:

PTS20-52080/7S

This interests me. It's self powered? Any details? I googled the part number and came up empty...

the subwoofer kit is $429 from dealers ive found online for a friend of mine.. seems kinda steep for a basic powered subwoofer.

From what I've seen in the new xB , the C-pillars look like they could handle a 6x9 speaker, alot of sound can be had with 6x9 and would get the volume off the floor in the back, and at head level

Thanks! Googled pts20-52080 and most dealers have it listed at $359.

More thread jacking...I have thought about doing a custom panel with a set of elemental design components back there.

No details yet unfortunately. From what I've gathered thus far it SEEMS to be an 8" subwoofer in a custom enclosure for the xB made by Bazooka. No idea on any other details and those are sketchy as well. I'd like to know what it's powered by, RMS, peak, etc.

Nearly two months since the OP posted this thing... And it appears to be one of the most viewed topics in ICE...

Does anyone really know whats going on here?

I'd appreciate some info as well, especially since it seemed to have been first posted/reported by a dealer apparently. Someone seemingly associated with Scion of Glendora.

You know, as soon as SEMA is over someone will come out with an aftermarket sub to fit the same location for cheaper and sounding better. Just wait it out, save some cash and get a better unit! Remember, FOOLS rush in...lol
