Default FACTORY NAVIGATION OVERIDE CODE

For the 05 Toyota Navi systems...you could overide the Navigation Unit to be able to unlock all features as you drive...You hit Menu, Volume and Down Up Down Up on the side and it unlocks the Navi system....

Is there any UNLOCK CODE for the 08XB Navigation System?

yes, as far as we know, there is no code to override. but randode has posted an extensive process on this subject, and there is a workaround...

I wonder if being that it is an Alpine unit if the PAC TR-7 would work for the override. I used that on my IVA-W200 to bypass the dvd lock out. Any thoughts on that?

If it wasn't for the navigation lockout I would be more interested in the factory nav. I just can't imagine not being able to change anything unless I am at a complete stop with the pbrake on. I know that when you have the Alpine blackbird hooked up to their head units it just gives you a warning screen telling you not to be an idiot.
