Default JL w7

I have a 10" JL W7 with a 500/1 amp and I was happy with it at first but am looking to upgrade. I wanna stick with JL but my question is what would hit harder 2 10" JL w7 or a 13" JL w7.

Also if I go with the 13 should I spend the extra cash for a 1000/1 amp or just get another 500/1 amp and bridge the conection. I appreciate anyone's input.

I can build my own boxes and I have heard that puting a 13w7 in a sealed box is pretty damn loud. Need some feedback if you have some.

the 13 would be louder but the 2 10's would have a better cleaner sound i would go with the 13 and infact buy the 1000 watt amp it has been proven that bridging isnt as loud and clean as a single amp

Have you looked at Elemental Designs?

I have been a long time fan of JL, but I am leaning towards eD. They have a lot of good reviews from users and they a more reasonably priced.

My guess is the 2 10's would be louder.

As far as the amp goes, eD has the 9.1 that does around 1200 watts and I think it's only $365 shipped.

I currently have a 12W6v2 on a 400 watt JL amp and I am thinking about changing to all eD.

I am picking up my 08 NBM xB today. I will be putting my 10W7 and JL 1000/1 in it soon. I had it in my Yukon and it slammed real good, ported box though. I think in the new xB I will be changing the box back to sealed since the xB is much smaller. I will give details as soon as I get it all finished, pics as well. I know how much you guys like pics!!
