Just purchased a new XB 08 and got the premium radio package. Did not want to pay the $499 for the XM radio as my old vehicle (Chevy Blazer) has a pioneer system for which I have a pioneer module for. I figured that since it was a Pioneer all I had to do was take the module out of the old vehicle and use it in the new one. WRONG!!!!! I am now told that the XB requires a special module with a special Toyota connection for which I will have to fork over $499. Does anyone know of any after market XM modules that will work in the XB-2 where I do not need to get another mortgage to pay for it. VA disability checks do not go very far.
