Default Hello folks! Just another new member :)

Hey guys what's up? I've been following this site for a long time but since I haven't really done anything to my '12 xb I hadn't been active. Well things have changed and i'd like to share with you my unique experiences. its nothing insane, small things here and there but over time I'll be adding lots of personality to the vehicle.

First and foremost the most important aspect about my car is sound. I cannot live with factory paper speakers so Ive decided to add some JL C5s to my mix. I needed to make custom housing to fit the speakers and so here's what they look like

Also Ive decides to tint my tails and those annoying reflectors.

(Sorry about the salt stains )

My next project is to lower the car. Already have some tein springs that I'll be installing after this polar vortex quits sobbing over canada.

My future projects involve tinting my fronts to match factory rear (though I don't know if I should tint my windshield as well) and get a body kit somehow before I do a DIY vinyl wrap/plastidip.

CIA and Exhaust are all future options.. However there is one particular exhaust kit that I would totally kill to ha e on my vehicle... If anyone has any information about them please let me know ;)

I was also thinking g about getting the avant garde m220 s as rims but I don't think they suit the vehicle.

So much to do.. So little money... Lol

Anyways just wanted to give a what's up! If you guys have any inputs or suggestions I'm all ears

That xB you posted with the exhaust you like is Charles (scion619). He custom fit the exhaust tips from a Lexus LS to the rear FiveAxis kit.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcoming and the prompt replies.

Yea it seems that theyre the lexus tips. Charles is a creative individual, that much is certain. I envy the look for sure. I may look into doing it but nothing for the long run. I originally wanted to run the exhausts through the reflector openings but i was advised to sway my decision as the heat would warp the plastic around it =/

As soon as this winter stops ill be throwing on my springs and then ill take some nice shots.

Just a quick question about plastidipping. I was advised to stay away from the products as the removal process ( for either a fresh coat or a new colour) also has tendencies to remove the clearcoat from the car.

Anybody have any insight on this?

A project for this summer was to wrap my car (DIY) and then for the hood/roof of the car to plastidip due to the ease of application ( hoping the texture comes out the same). The car would be two-toned ... advice? Just in the research phase now....

i agree with naresh, that does look like a perfect fit! what a great way to use a generally unusable space
