I just got back from the SF Scion Backstage, interesting little event. I got to test drive the new XB, and it drives really smooth, and you can def. feel the power compared to the classic xb. I can't wait til MAY!!!! Enjoy the Pics.

Did you get a chance to sit in the back? If so how does the legroom compare to the gen1?

I would say ABOUT the same, but it does feel a little different. You're not so low like the 1st gen, but it still has that unique box experience of sitting in the back.

it's a completely new car.... performance wise.. it almost matches the tC.. (well considering it's basically the SAME engine).... a bigger.. roomier.. more comfortable.. and it can handle itself pretty well..... (screeching thru the corners of the test track... )

very impressed with the car.

I can't wait for the June 1st event. Glad to hear u liked how the new xb drove. Did they have any manuals to drive? The new xb is such a nice car, wish I can say the same for the new xd.

they had 1 manual and 2 autos... they'll be touring them

i can't imagine how "worn in" the clutch will be on the manual after taking it around for abit....

and if you guys didn't know.. the autos come with sequential. both performed well.

nope... even the big guys didn't have any estimates yet...

but considering the size and performance of the car... i would say it'll be around the same vicinity of the current tC's pricing.

that's just my guess anyway.

They're going to try something new instead of Pure Pricing. It's called "Surprise Pricing." 3-4 weeks after you take delivery of the car you'll get a bill in the mail for what you owe. The neat thing is, you can also surprise them back with how much you're gonna pay. It's new twist on the ole back and forth games.
