Transmission fluid 2008 scion xb.
Hello xb owners out there I have a 2008 xb manual transmission. I just changed my drivers side axle and wanted to know if anyone knows what type of Tranny fluid I need to use to put back in my car. I finished last night and all I need to do was put back the tranny fluid I lost while removing the axle. As I was looking to find somewhere to put in the fluid. I found that I can't just pour it in from the top I need to take off a plug from the bottom and fill from there im guessing??? Please help me figure out an easier way to pour the tranny fluid in and what type also. I bought Royal Purple 75w-90 to put back in but want to be sure that will work. Any help is definitely appreciated. I took alot of photos so I will write up a diy on it soon.

i've changed the trans fluid a few times on my toaster, it takes 2.6 quarts of 75w90 gear oil
i would drain the transmission from the drain plug on the bottom, then refill it from the top by removing the reverse sensor
here is a link to a write up from a tC, they use the same transmission

Thanks guys, I was able to change it last night after running around to autozone trying to get the right fluid. I decided to go with the Lucas instead of the Royal Purple because of course they didn't have enough in stock but oh well. I will post up my pictures for the DIY on changing the axle on 08 scion xb.
