I still have my xD and this pulley. She is now passed 150K miles of use and in outstanding condition. Overall an excellent purchase! It could be a coincidence, but I also made it to 145K miles on the dreaded crappy water pump on the xD, I do feel the pulley helped contribute to the longevity of my pump that actually was not dead at time of replacement... was just getting worried it would go out like everyone's has.

And in theory, a lighter crank pulley means less "load" and less "pull" each time you go from start to stop, off to on, etc. Maybe the pulley helped, it certainly sounds like it didn't hurt, which is good news!
Thanks for posting!!

I still have my xD as well, ~140,000 on it since I installed the NST pulley. I love the pulley, and I'm still on the original water pump after ~160,000 miles. Maybe it is the pulley that saves the water pump.
I would definitely recommend the pulley to anyone thinking about getting it.
