Default What do you think about sponsor logos on XB?

As you can see on my avatar, I have sponsor logos on my XB. (No, I'm not really sponsored!) Thinking about removing them. Should I leave em or not? What's your opinion about cars with graphics like this?

it depends... since your not technically sponsored you have no requirments to keep them on.

for shows.. its an easy way to let others know what parts you have on your ride,
for day to day... its a personal choice... if you really like the product thats a good enough reason to rock it....

otherwise.. its free advertising for that companay... most would say why rock it if your not getting a discount or something in return for it, dont sport the logo... same thing with license plate frames.. most take the dealer ones off ASAP unless you really like them.

to me and just from experience, logo's are nothing but a shopping list for theives. like i had a friend with a 97 camaro sporting a JL audio sticker in the back window... a month later, POW no more JL audio subs in his car, but he had a nice lil sticker to go along with it. and another time this guy i know that owned a used car lot were he take cars and modifies them slightly by adding exhaust and intake to target younger kids like 16, 17 looking to buy a new car, he used to put the stickers that came with the exhaust or intake or whatever he baught for the car, and oneday this kid came in asked to test drive the car and they kid hopped in an drove off... 5 days later car was found no intake or exhaust. Some kid walked away with free merchandise.

you be the judge.
its one thing if ur doing it for extra points @ a show, but if ur cars a daily driver its not really all that smart. save those stickers for that friend that is driving his mom's minivan and plaster them all over that, cause you know no-one will try and steal it.

If they aint paying you, only keep the stickers on that you really think are worth the free advertising. I have a couple stickers on my car of companies that I think are top notch and did me right in the past so they get free ad space on my car's butt. But nothing else.

see the thing is if it looks good leave it. appearance is what makes people look at your car. if its tasteful then its all gravy. I have bBist accross the side of my 'yam' box. in my opinion its cool, but to others they ask why. so if you like it leave it alone. just make sure you change it up over time, so people wont look at it the same all the time.

I have them on my ride, and Im not sponsored. I like the way they look. Id say leave them if you like them.

I have them also, If you like em, keep. Funny thing is only one of my sponsors are on my roll call. the other is on my back window. and I dont have one for my audio sponsor.
