So I figured I would add a post about the progression of mods and upgrades for my tC. I have had other cars and done minimal things and a lot of cheap eBay upgrades.
Finally I have a car that I am proud of and will be doing everything the right way.
I know it wont be finished over night and it will take time. But this is a great car and I will not put any low quality upgrades on it.

These are some pictures of the car the first day I took it home. I will be posting more this week of things I have done to it so far. I am also trying to think of a good name for the car/build any suggestions?

So those were pictures about 7 months ago when I first got the car. I have done a few things already and have some big things planned for spring.

One thing I can ask is why do my pics only show up as thumbnails yet when i see all the other posts the pics are much bigger?

I will post some more tonight I am off to work for the day.

 

Because everyone else uploads them via third party site...like imageshack or photobucket etc...and then uses the url with the forum image tags

Ok I fixed the older photos and made them bigger. This was the first thing I did to my car actually. I really like Adidas Originals stuff so I added a small decal. No its not a mod nor does it do anything for the car but I like it and i think it actually looks really nice on there too.

 

This was my first real upgrade.... HID headlights and yellow fog light bulbs. My last car had HID's and I felt wrong not having them on this car. The stock lights were fine but it's like trying to go from watching a HDTV to a regular tube tv. So in my ind the HID's were a must have!

 

Actually like the Adidas sticker. Nice placement and it's always good to have something unique to make it ur own

 

Thanks.... Yea it was just to put my own little something on the car. I get compliments a lot on it actually because it flows really nicely with the car.

 

Yea the Adidas stripes reminds of of the tiny stripes on the top of the hatch

 

I still have things to add of what I have done so far but I wanted to know if anyone has put the Greedy RS exhaust on yet. I am willing to spend the money and really want it I was just wondering about first hand feedback on it.

 

love the adidas decal. im a adidas sports guy lolz. their original stuffs are kinda expensive for me, but i like them as well.

 

Here is a view of the eyelids that I added. They came out really well and was a great deal for around $15. Install was very easy and then you blast them with a heat gun they mold right on.

that is actually what i want to do with mine...its just i only had extra white laying around

i might have to go buy more and cut myself a new one

I plan on eventually putting a CF hood on it too. Thats probably a next year project. With the intake, exhaust, and grill definates for summer and the possibility of rims as well I think waiting on the hood isnt so bad.
