So what do you guys do with the spare tire once you put some subs in the back?

most people from previous discussions say they keep it still where it is at present...
a few remove it but then have that fear that they'll need it once it's removed...and just stay with a can of fill... also talk about whether anyone has installed it under the vehicle, but really---no good answer on that...

i'd keep the spare at all costs...

I fought with the idea of removing the spare so that I could mount subs in back, but since I just couldn't deal with the thought of being stranded on the road for no other reason than a flat tire, I left the spare tire intact. I then decided that it was either cargo space or subs in a box and the subs in a box won

I took my spare tire out and made an amp rack out of the storage compartment. Then I placed my sub box on top of the storage lid. I hid the amps so they wont be in the open.

Ok I know I should know this, and its off topic, but.... is my 15" spare tire even worth keeping around with my 18" rims, or is it useless?

It is only worth while if the spare is the same diameter as your 18" tires. Even then I would only drive it to the nearest tire shop. Otherwise you are just as good carrying fix-a-flat, and a tire plug kit. Even better if you have a spot you can carry one of those little cigarette lighter compressors.

I pulled my spare to put in my enclosure, The little spare wouldn't work well with my 17's anyway
