Default Time for a Fuel Filter change?

has any done some maintenance with the fuel filter? how important is that? especially over 80k miles on the tC?

It's not a part you would replace after so many miles, in fact it's not even on the scheduled maintenance list ... the filter is part of the fuel pump assembly which you might have to pull out of the tank and inspect or test if troubleshooting a fuel flow problem.

usually you replace the fuel pump and filter together cause they are both in the tank. and plus there is a metal grill that prevents large particle from getting sucked in.
