Default SNS 200

Just want to see options on this head unit.

I know the dealer wants 1999 for it but if you could buy it for 800 brand new in the box would you buy it?

I know you can buy a aftermarket one and install it for about the same price but the sns 200 fits alot cleaner without the side plastic fill in's

And I also plan on running 2 amps off of it.

Give me some options. Thanks

My priorities on my 2012 xB are wheels/tires (looks) and handling/stance, breathing/CAI & exhaust efficiencies, and sometime thereafter stereo because I'm >40 and the stock Alpine has come a long way beyond old-school factory sound.
Now if you can get $2K worth of your eventual objective for $800, then maybe a little re-prioritization is in order...

I couldn't tell for sure, but I think that is the same nav unit that I just installed in my 2011 XB. I got it for free from a friend who got a new car. It came out of a 2008 and I had to do some re-wiring to get the AUX jack to work. I still haven't got the ipod controls to work through the radio. I also got it to play DVDs. I am very happy with it. Mine, however, doesn't have any RCA outputs so running amps would be more difficult. Here are a couple of pics of mine.

That's the SNS 100 from the 2008 xB, he's talking about the SNS 200.

Oh. Ok. Well, if it's like mine, I'm happy with it so far. Let us know what you end up doing.
