ok so i got my new wheel, and quick release hub..IT LOOKS SO SICK
but theres one probem, my car will start and than it will just die, like it will idle realllllllly low like almost at 0, but before i put the wheel on my car ran perfect

any suggestions please help!!!

 

wtf.... a new wheel should have nooo efect on engine performance.... this is very strange...

 

i know man, i see aftermarket wheels, on tcs all the time, i have noooo clue whats wrong

 

did you disconnect the battery when installing the wheel?

 

yeah i did, i have no clue, whats wrong

 

check your connection with the battery make sure everything is tight .that is probably the only reason why you car is idling really low to the point of dying.

Make sure your battery connections are on tight.

 

haha ok its a quick release it looooks SICCCK but im supercharged do you guys think something coulda all the sudden happen i mean it ran perfectly fine until the new wheel was put on

 

how long was your battery disconnected... and did you disconnect both positive and negative...

if you took both off and left if off for a while and computer will reset... all you have to do is drive it around so the cars computer will relearn everything... thats the beautiful thing of our cars...

It usually takes a while to reprogram its self. Go do some highway driving for a while. I am pretty sure it just needs to be run for a while.

 

ill try, we will have to see what happens

 

after I installed my CAI, it took 30 min of driving for it to not die. Best of luck to you my friend.

sorry pcs will be up tomrow, i put my stock wheel back on thinkng it would fix it but it didnt so tomrow me and a couple buddys are puttin my wheel back on, than going under the hood and find the problem

found out the acual probelm....everytime i undo my batttery, and put it back on it doesnt work..it idles really low than cuts out..so what i do is go driving and booom it fixes itself.!!! i drive for about 25 mins and it re learns itsself...i thought it woulda be from unplugging my air bag and cruise control but thats not the prob i guess
