I just picked up a set of Silverstar Ultras for $36 at my local Advance Auto Parts, they are on sale this week. Regular Silverstars are on sale too, for I think $28. But for me the price difference was way worth it to get the Ultras!! It took me 2 minutes to put them in and they make a huge improvement!!! I love them, and just wanted to share the good price with everyone.

thats great, i thought i bought ultras at target but they are regular ones for like 40 bux dammit but yea, ima go return these and then get myself some ultras i hope they are brighter than the regular ones right?

 

I bought them at pep boys last week. I think they still have the rebate thing going.

reg price was $50, and $15 rebate per pair. Of course it'll take 10 weeks to process it....

i have the sonar headlights. i only put silverstars in the low beam. im gonna have to pick up a set for the highs (h1 i think) and the fogs.

dont fry your wire harness

 

its just a light bulb. its not a fake HID bulb. i had silver stars in everyone of my cars for the last 4yrs as has everyone in my family and most ppl i know and no1 has had a problem. if they were frying wire harnesses dont you think sylvania would have stopped making them because of all the lawsuits?

 

I want some...what sizes for the tC? I want to do Parking Lights, Low beams and High beams...

no its just like 30% brighter i have the regular ones that ive used for a week if you wanna buy them ill sell it to you for 25 dollars shipped

 

Do these bulbs burn the harness cause I've heard of aftermarket bulbs burning the stock tC harness.

 

no silverstar bulbs do not burn the harness, like hte guy said in this thread if they did why would they even make it the high wattage ones burn it you gotta upgrade ur harness so it wont burn but these ones are safe
