Default I've decided if I get TRD springs I will get TRD Shock/Strut

Ok so i've decided that if i do get TRD springs i will also get the TRD shocks/struts which will cost around 849 out the dealer (want to keep that warrenty ).

My current set up is:

18x8 +40 offset
225/40-18

Will I rub? does anyone have this type of set up with pics (with the TRD drop + TRD shocks/struts)?

I also heard that having the TRD shocks/struts will lower your car even more. Is this true or is this complete BS? Anyone's opinion and/or pictures would help a lot

No, it shouldnt lower it any more. The struts are not bottomed out. They simply connect and work to dampen movement. You should drop the same amount either way.

It'll fit fine if not perfectly.

Good choice! (Yes, I'm biased.) You'll be fine. I have the TRD Springs (for a little over a year now) and stock shocks. The only time you will rub will be on big dips. Other than that, you're golden.

rubbing shouldn't be an issue. there are other members here that are running a wider width with minimal to no rubbing. 849 is just for the springs and struts correct? how much would the dealership going to charge for the install? will the installation include an alignment? dealerships aren't usually that quick to void your warranty(especially when they are TRD parts). i personally would just buy it springs and struts from an online vendor and install them myself.
