So the side mirrors on my scion xb 09 just got totally messed up. My friend was taking paint off of it and it practically ate up the plastic. the mirror itself is fine but the turn signal looks eaten up. idk what to do.

Should i get new mirrors? or is it possible to find new turn signal plastics?
Does anyone know where i can find some 09 scion xb side mirrors?
Can mirrors from 1st gen xb's fit 2nd gen?

its possible to just get the turn signal but if anything else is broken, its not really possible to order that specific part so you have to buy the entire assembly. Your best choice is to go to the junk yard to find something unless you want a new part, then go to TRDsparks

 

Or you can shave the mirrors all together and mount hot rod mirrors like on the Raging Bull xB? JK, kinda...but it would be cool!

 

You can call your local dealerships and see how much they sell them (if they do) try a local junk yard, or try and get some of that headlight haze cleaner and see if that will work.

But why the hell were u guys taking the paint off 4?

 

Whenever you're stripping the paint on the mirrors, take off the cover that's painted. It is a removable piece.

Find an xb/xD in a junk yard with mirrors and take the pieces off that you need. They might want you to buy the whole thing but that might still be cheaper.
