Default ***** 2009 RS 5.0!!!

Took delivery a few months ago of my RS 5.0 #1585! Finally had time to get some work done and take pics/assemble one of these posts! I have lots of plans, just need the cash flow to accomplish those goals haha. Comments/suggestions are appreciated! Excuse the poor quality pics only have my cell phone most of the time.

The day I took delivery! Excuse my brothers ugly lancer haha

Next came some tint and an S2K antennae! tint is 10% on back 3 and I believe 20-25% on front windows!

Then had to add some LED's in the interior/license plate. Went with the cool white and a red cubby hole to finish it. Hopefully doing a full HVAC/gauge swap soon!

Around this time my dash seemed to be rotting from the inside out... Little bubbles started appearing all around the gauges and up along the windshield as well. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the entire dash at no charge. In the process scratching the HVAC and some other stuff

Next came a polished Fujita F5 CAI purchased from a member here. Install was a PITA but overall I am happy with the results.

Also along the way installed some OBX pedal covers and a momo gotham shift ****! Right now the break pedal is pulsating whenever pressure is applied so when I go in for my free 5k mile service I am going to have them check that out as well.

So far this is as far as I have gotten, but still have lots planned! Let me know what you think and any suggestions you have

Nice RS5. However I'm waiting for an RS5 owner to slam their RS5 to the ground with a Fiveaxis kit..

I would def lower it, black out the tails and a 5axis kit would look sweet. But how come you didnt have the dealer fix the hvac if they scratched it when they put in your new dash? I woulda raised Hell!

It's a pretty small scratch over the up arrow on climate control and it took me a couple days to notice it so I figured they would just give me the run around and stuff. If I would have noticed it when I picked it up I definitely would have raised hell! Some coilovers are definitely on the to do list as soon as I get the money haha so I have been mostly doing easy cheap stuff!

Thanks for the comments!

True but I was pretty set on a tc and for the price point why not? Does come with some good upgrades that would get done either way IMO. haha Been reading every page in the raceland coilover thread and may just pick a set up after I see whats up.

Well at least you are keeping the one thing that actually adds the extra value, the wheels unlike another person on here that put horrible wheels on it.

Nothing wrong with changing them, just hang onto those wheels. Unless you wanna make a deal?
