trying to go for a Goat, G8's are still too high on the price range, the other option is a c5 non Z06 Corvette.

 

So who wants to paint my calipers cause I'm too lazy to do it and I'm a horrible painter

So I have a black 94 supra sitting on a trailer at my house for a couple weeks. It's being stored in my garage for my friend.

 

y would you choose a goat over a vette? they handle so much better than a goat. goats are nice drag beast tho but as far as handling they are garbage.

 

I HATE just about every Vette except C6 z06, and the ZR1. C4 looks like a door stop and C5 design was outdated when it came out, not to mention the years through the production.

You can make GTO handle well, they wouldnt run them in the Bathurst race if they wern't competitive. I'd throw two turbos on it and live at a drag strip though.

 

im sure he would use it for drag as i would. we used to have a guy named john down in dover that had one with cams, exhaust and he was beatin an 03-04 cobra. but you kno how much suspension work they do to make them handle well? alot i see them at all the track events i go to in oklahoma and body roll is nuts on them. and i agree with you about corvettes ive never been a fan. but they do handle well.

 

we'll see what I find when i'm ready to buy, I just gotta get these parts out of here and the bank account built up. I am also waiting to hear if my friend is taking delivery on the 97 Viper GTS at Porter Ford that he put a down payment on. He said something about the finance company needed a apraiser to come out before they could finish the paper work due to the age of the car and the price?

 

are you getting rid of the car all together? if i had the money i would so buy the new gt in grabber blue. but i got a quote on one and even if i put damn near 10 grand on one payments were still lookin like 500 a month. that is double wat i pay now.

 

Yeah I'm getting a divorce from the scion. More than likely i'll go with the GTO just because I still like the idea of having a back seat if I need to take my nieces or nephwes any where. I can't quite do the car seat thing in the corvette so well haha. I was already figuring on H&R springs, Hotchkis sways, and Koni Yellow adjustable shocks and struts.

 

yea i hear you on that. how much would you be lookin to sell your scion for? there is a kid that wants to buy mine but i dont kno if i can sell it.

 

I am kinda in the hole on the scion so I gotta come up with the cash to break even.

 

Man I wanna hit up the texas mile and one of these texas 2k meets. My friend that has the supra has went to the past 2 texas 2k meets. There is some for real kick ___ cars out there.
