Default An inheritance of FAIL.

So.. Who has two thumbs and a box full of fail? Me! Just thought I'd post it that I am the new owner of the infamous Fail Box. And she is living up to her name.

I have already gone through the process of replacing the front bearing.. as to which the front bearing had been bad so long.. that the bearing shell had been welded to the front spindle. But with the can do attitude that must be taken with the fail box.. the job was done..

As it stands.. the dash has been replaced.. it has been painted.. the interior has been cleaned up and the panels will soon have new material.. I've posted some pictures and will get some more once its light outside.

I'mm happy to have inherited the fail.. I can honestly say.. I've never found more zip ties.. doing nothing.. than on this car.. Don.. You are the Zip Tie King.. Kudos to you..ha ha ha..

It was one of the hardest things I've done the these cars.. it could have been much easier had I started out with the right tools.. But I got them and it made it a lot more bearable. Not something I would recommend taking on by yourself..

So can we get ready for a Failbox sequel, with sideline commentary Howard Cosell style?

Like I said.. I'll get some better pics today.. I hope the fail doesn't continue, but I'm prepared for the residual fail that is bound to happen.. Such as... The hatch.

Redneck couldn't have paid you enough to take the Failbox off his hands ;). G/L with the rebuild. Let's hope your level of fail is a lot lower than we're used to seeing with the Failbox.

O.O

Kinda looks like the tailgate of my 98 Frontier before I threw it to the fishes... DAMN

Now would be a GREAT time to get a new tailgate that has a fold down 48" plasma for backyard PS3 time!
