Cool, cool... From Chicago... but grew up watching and going to Sox games. I hate the Cubs!!!! Lol
There's a few guys in the Joplin area. They kind of lay low since there's not much of a scene there. A few go to Springfield to hang out at Reliable Scion and do the Shine N Dine.
The scene is hopefully gonna get bigger. I work at fletched scion and we are looking to sponsor a local scikotics chapter and throw a pretty big show here soon. We'll also be having monthly specials and other stuff like a ride of the month. So stay tuned!!!
chewsifer, i think we have actually talked on scikotics, too. you know any way i can get in touch with the guys from joplin other than posting on here and scikotics?
I'm from st.Louis also. Would love to come to events too look at the other cars but have trouble finding out when they are. Try make midnight madness also but have family not much time.
You just missed the Lot out in St. Peters which is every third Saturday. You can join the teenagers at Sonic in the Valley on Thursdays or Sonic in Kirkwood for the slightly older crowd.
Also check out the Scikotics website and join us for our meets and mod days. We have a meet next Saturday at Seeger Toyota if you want to join us feel free. We have several members with kids so don't worry about bringing them too.
I hate to see it but the plains area is just not moving like it used to. Even the All Scion Show didn't happen this year. I was really bummed to not hear about anything as I'm usually VERY excited to attend.
I'd like to see a little more happening but i don't forsee anything big happening for awhile.
