Default wheel question

I auto x my car and i was looking at 18x9.5 Rota Grid - White (5x100/e38/73) and was wondering if that wheel will affect the peroformance of my car . I dont like that stance look or anything.
Would just like to know .

They may be a tad too wide and or heavy to get noticeable gains on the track... you may want to look at something like a 8-8.5 width

Hello.

Unless you are getting a super deal on those Grids, I don't think it will benefit you on the track. Plus, that size is more for form > function.

Try 17 x 8.5 or 17 x 8 with some lighter wheels. OTHERS feel free to correct me.

Yea I was looking at those sizes . And it's half street duty so that's why I was looking at the grids. Is there any other wheel company that makes good rims. I was also thinking about having my stock rims for racing but don't think there wide enough, as I'm looking for a little bit wider rim for traction .

What tires and size would you recommend on the 17x8 for track use? R888, NT01, 615, or even the Hoosier R6.
