Cool Another tC owner joining the ranks!

Just finished the financing and dealing for my 2006 tC. She's silver and came with a bunch of aftermarket parts already!

here are a few pics:

I would like to know a few basic things to keep my new ride driving for a long as possible and what small things have you guys done to modify yours on the cheap? (like the Clutch Pedal stop fix)

I'm loving it so far!

Just bought an '08 tc yesterday. First one so I will be lurking and learning. I Live in Vegas. My tc is all stock except for an LED mod that the previous owner did. It has blue gauges except the speedo light doesn't work. I'll have to figure that out and fix it soon.

Congratulations on the purchase. Most of the guys are helpful but there are those few still. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me any questions. I don't know everything but I know quite a bit. Is it auto or manual?

uh have you noticed the all glass top on your tc? you have a nice massive moonroof that flips up or slides back. And the rear can can let the sun in also.

Yes I know my roof is all glass. I meant that I wish it actually opened to let in air since the glass itself is fixed.

If it's a spec tC, the glass does not move.

Congrats to all new owners. I use to own an xB. Was here back in the day with squirrel. Is he still around? If you guys need a transponder chip to start your car. Send me a private message(lower price) or take a look at my listing on ebay. I can do the chip alone or with the key. Chip alone would be better if your putting it into a remote key or flip key.

Just bought a Cosmic 2009, not much different or modded but does have HIDs and different grill along with a black lip spoiler and black panel above the hatch button. Don't know where to go from here, just can't do anything to void my extended warranty but other than that I'd love to hear tips and tricks or little things to do to it.

You can do A LOT of things to not void your ext. wty. You can do something w/ your style like rims and lips or lights (those kind of things), then with engine/performance, get like springs/coilovers or exhaust, intake ect. Congrats on the new ride and keep us posted w/ your build!!!!

Hey guys, got my 08 Classic Silver Mica a little over a week ago. Used to drive an 02 Protege5. So far, there is a significant difference. The tC is great and I'm glad to be part of the Scion family.

No problem. I have an 08 tc as well cept the flint mica color. I have a thread I made called part by part tc. I haven't posted on there in a while to show off some stuff I did to my tC but if ever you want to build up and post each time or post after a year is cool hahahaha! It's just a thread to help others on their choices for making big to small mods it is suppose to give the person an idea to improve a mod already done or come up with a new one.

So any ways I hope you enjoy your tc they are fun to drive even at the beach! :D

Hi everyone. I just found this forum a couple months ago and I've got to say the information people post are quite invaluable. Anyway, I've been driving a 05 (Manual) TC for about 4 years and decided to look into some mods recently. As a daily drive, this car is the perfect car for students like me thanks to reliability, gas mileage, and lower repair costs. I love my TC and hope everyone enjoys their rides too. Thanks.
