NIA is the only brand I've seen around. I looked for the Forjworks that used to be around but couldn't find them on their website. TRD Sparks has the NIA's the cheapest I've found.

Cliff @ 2zero6factory has the NIA lids I think just as good as Forgworks but less expensive.

Bats site is in his signature, great quality vinyl.

But by no means is the NIA eyelids just as good as forjworks. They don't fit nearly as good and the material forjworks uses is way better than NIA, only thing is they don't make them anymore

IMO if you want eyelids at this point get vinyl, or search the classifieds for a used set of forjworks eyelids ( I bought 2 sets on this site before, just gotta be patient )

Bull____, I have the NIA and they look and fit perfectly. It's all plastic no difference don't kid yourself buddy! The eyelids take such a huge beating they really need to be made out of special material?

Come on , fit perfectly ? They fit. I said "they don't fit as good as forjworks" because nia has a gap where it meets the front.
I said they don't compare, you can't call bull____ on that if they're both made by different brands, different material, and fit the headlight differently. I just wanted to clarify that they are not "just as good" they're totally different .

I had NIA headlights on my car for 2 years and liked them for what they are, and they are more aggressive looking then forjworks. but you can't put an nia eyelid next to a forjworks eyelid and say it fits better overall around all the contours of the headlight

Either way you're going to have a good looking lid. If you think you're going to lose out on that dust collector at the car show cause your eyelid doesn't fit just right than do what you want. I don't think it's worth the extra cost so whatever. Sorry Tatoo for jacking your thread, I'm done I will keep my NIA's

Don't know if it matters to the difference of opinion between Mikey_Boy and Golfhak, but I remember reading somewhere that a year or so after NIA came out with their eyelids they changed the material/look of theirs. Maybe you two are comparing version 1 with version 2? Just a thought.

This photo from the NIA website shows a great fit.

I expect my NIA eyelids to arrive in the mail soon and will install them after spring break. I'll let you know how mine fit after I get them installed.

Thanks Zinger I don't come on here to cause problems, I just know the lids I got from Cliff (NIA) fit nice on my 012. Al was looking and I let him know what I got. Then Mikey obviously a stock holder in Forgworks chimed in

For the record, hak, your car is one of my favorites. Truly dig your ride.

That said, I have some nia eyelids and I don't like their fitment. Their paint match was pretty bad (to their defense there are sixish different shades of superwhite). I had mine repainted to match better but I don't know what to do about the gap. Drives me nuts but I'm trying to get over it. Lol.

To specify, the only fitment issue is that the eyelids stop short and leave an unattractive gap between headlight and hood.

Here is a pict. of my new NIA eyelids. I'm very happy with the color match.

If you look closely, you can see a small gap above the driver's side and a tiny gap on the right of the passenger side. That said, neither is the fault of the eyelids. They both fit the headlights perfectly. The gap is due to the headlights themselves being in slightly different positions on the car. I'll have to look at the headlight mountings another day to see if they can be adjusted without messing up the aim of the headlights.

Looks real good. I was thinking of getting some eyelids too. BTW, link to those side vent lights?

Here you go: http://www.oznium.com/scion-xb-front-led

Several of my favorite "easy" mods right up front:
- eyelids
- vent lights
- painted the red frame/body behind the grill black (plastidip so not permanent)
- switchback turn signals (though you obviously can't tell that with them off )
