its an oh my god for I can definitely see the "uniqueness" and I'm sure you put the time in on it, but it just doesnt work with the tc.

The car has curves. Your creation does not.

I love the idea. I hate the end result.

mad props for creativity, but I would throw that thing in the trash, and start on a revised version 2.

but really, all that matters is if you like it. Which brings me to my question. DO YOU(the OP) LIKE IT?

Yeh I like it. I'll like it more when I finish the body work more and make a nicer grill but it took like a year I'll probably attempt it again in a few years and go fully custom wide body after I graduate college. Thx too all the people that had positive coments. I only posted this to show u the uniqueness and work I put in to my car. I knew ahead of time nobody on scionlife would like it because every is so flame happy here but I like it and I wanted to look like no other Tc and I did that. Again thanks to those that appreciate the work I did even if u don't like the look. Also I love my Lamborghini doors because I can park in tight space and still get out. It also keeps fat chicks out.

nice project. but i would've made the top grille part flush with the hood. otherwise the way you have it, makes it look like a dodge

Just looks way out of proportion. Kind of resembles a 90's Dodge Ram.
Otherwise I like the idea and applaud the effort.

^x3 for Dodge Ram. First thing my dad said as he passed by and glanced at the laptop. A lot of work has been put into it yes, but it still needs more. A for effort though being DIY.

Massive amounts of work and I honestly wish I could do fiberglass... BUT personally I think if you took a tC front and an evo front and just glassed them together it would have looked better. I do agree it reminds me of a Dodge. All that being said the work you put into it makes it good, I can absolutely admire anyone who works hard to do something they like.

U can't fiberglass a Tc front and evo front together because the evo front is about 8inches wider and fiberglass won't bond to a stock bumper it will just crack off. But I did this when I was 19 so you gotta admit it's pretty good for someone that learned it all on my own.

Holy ____...I never finish my projects. I admire your patience and all the hard work you must have put into that but like everyone else..yeah I don't like it.

Doesn't matter though as long as you like it. Put up some full side shots

Your creativity and the end result was outstanding, the fact you started and finished = O_O. Unfortunately, I dont feel some aspects of the bumper. I really dont think the grill works and it doesnt look smooth and rigid like a regular evo bumper. I wouldn't have the bumper on mine but it seems like you like it so thats fine in my book.

Wish you were local because I would love to see this in person.

Now, as for making a hybrid bumper, I've heard of that being done before. you use the upper part of the OEM bumper since the mounting clips and such are there, and then fabricate the lower part of the other bumper to it. I don't know what to use to keep it together....because the one I saw was just Bondo and that can't be legit enough. Sheet metal??? lol.

Not a fan of the bumper, but you like it and that's all that matters.
I admire your persistence and hard work to make it happen. Makes me feel even lazier now.

There are ways. The best is to used the just the stock sides and top for mounting and then the best would be make the whole thing by platic welding or drill a crap ton of little holes for the fiberglass to adhere to the oem bumper. Also you can do it out of what ever and then make a mould of it and cast a new bumper from the mold with just fiberglass or even carbon fiber. Once I get my hood perfect I plan on molding it and make a pure fiberglass replace mention and making the oem one back to stock so I can switch out bumpers incase I'm going to drive in a bad area road wise.

i can appreciate the amount of work and effort you put into the bumper. i think it would have flowed so much better if the opening was so much smaller and flowed a bit smoother with the original bumper. other than that, thumbs up for originality.
