Looks nice but not for me.. Im not crazy about that uncontrolled/scattered HID look that the tc gets from HIDs in factory housings.. I am glad you posted up the pics it looks nice..

For example see how wide the direction is

Notice how the entire housing looks bright and lit up.

Dont get me wrong I am not dissin your car or the work, Im am staing my opinion on why I am not crazy for it. The other night I was on my way to work and there was another tc on my left he had HIDS in factory housings and I was getting the crap blinded out of me.. I was about a 3/4 car length in front of him on a highway..

why is everyone so concerned with the cutoff.......i have 6k in my stock housing, and honestly i get no glare, no flashing by other people and the light distribution is 99% close to stock.........
But I also think its the quality of the bulb too....

I think a clean cut off is really nice, i have that in my other car, but honestly who drives 5 feet away from the garage door at night? sure there are a few hotspots and the cut off is nothing compared to a mercedes.......but IMO it works fine for what most of us are using them for......

I guess it really comes down to opinion, but trust me once the UmNitza projectors hit the market Ill be all over that..

ditto with kilo6, glare is overrated! i have 5.3k and i never had any problems with people flashing me.

spend the money somewhere else.

Also, my car is lowered, that has alot to do with the amount of glare into other peoples eyes.......what is funny is I have been flashed more often with my other car that has projectors then my Tc. I think people want things to be perfect because they see them done on another car, or a car that is perfect, you have to keep in mind the Tc is still developing aftermarket parts, and unfortuanlty projectors seem to be lagging in that department, and that is still no guarnatee that your HID's will have pristine cut-off or zero hotspots.........

As the saying goes: don't hold your breath.

Get a nice CF hood instead and drop some good bulbs in...

that's where i mounted my ballast. only takes me less then 10 min to pull off my bumper. i have the 8000K hid's and car's lowered on trd's...when behind another car, light doesn't seem to go above the licence plate, but i know i have a little glare since stock housings are made to shine up a little. i'm too lazy to do a retrofit. projectors are nice, but still waiting for a complete kit to come out....

alot of cars that have HID's acutally have the ability to aim them up or down based on load.......
I have been blinded by a 7 series in the last week......
I think alot of people leave them adjusted up to ____ off other drivers.......

when you spend 30K ++++ it gives you the right to blind people.

in the end i think its just the end users preference. if you have the cash to dump then go retro but for the ghetto fabolous then you try what you can

If you think bmws and other passenger cars are blinding, try having lifted f150s/escalades/h2s/denalis behind you..____ sucks!!

yeah, I saw a f350 with no projector with HID's.........it basically was a parking lot lamp rolling down the street, it was so bright and right in your face too......and it was not even lifted.
