Whats great about a tC is this...I've turbo'd mine, put all new suspension, wheels, tires, exhaust, body kit, dvd player, kickin system, racing seats a lot of crap....yet.. I can still go to the grocery store and cram an A$$load of stuff into my lil ol TC, Take my mom out for dinner, Or My favorite........ get the girlfriend, pack up and take a weekend trip somewhere with no problems, So what the tC lacks in speed or power, whatever, it soo makes up for with every day life. I My tC!

My tC looks better than a Beemer or mercedes!...Rides & accelerates better too than those!!

 

before i got the tC i looked into a mazdaspeed 3, but i figure i would save my money for aftermarket turbo and etc. and to me the tC is pretty fast for what it is...and im tired of people putting tC's down...scion 4 life!!

 

yup yup... my ex got made because i refused to let a colbalt ss pass me on the freeway, but thats not why she is my ex. she would get mad because her car was allways dirty and mines always spotless

 

Interpreting the title literally... I just got laughed at today by 4 guys in a Yello EVO VIII. Damn it!

Oh well, i'll be laughing when he's getting it fixed in two weeks.

hmm... i know of a nice four banger that would WOOP the tc, and it's less than 18000 grand,

the nissan sentra se-r spec v.
the sentra se-r might even have a chance...

 

It's funny because I felt the same way. I put down roughly 50k miles on her before I did my first modification (Injen CAI, TRD springs and rearsway bar; now on my new set of tires too) and I'm wondering why I never did those things before? It is a different car now with those small mods and here I am contemplating on what next to get?

Gotta' love the tC, lets me save up for the big project...

 

With the injen intake, alphawerks header, and a megan s-pipe on my car I detroyed a se-r spec v at a stop light. I walked away from him.

He was the one that wanted to give it a run at the light!

 

i would love to know where the hell you can find a BRAND NEW se-r spec v. for less then 20k... my friend has one and he pain more then 18... and another thing i have race him... he has intake,header. i have header, dampener,and light weight pulley.... he still beat me by a car length..... remember the nissan has lsd and way more top end

 

was he stock?
if he was running the same mods as you, he would have "walked away" from you... like i said my friend has this car and i have drove it aswell... his car pulls alot harder then our tC... for numerous reasons 1. the nissan has more power 2. it has a lsd 3. the car is lighter 4. the top end is just nasty
however the tC is cheaper so we can mod and be faster then the se-r for less money then the baseline msrp on the nissan

 

Ride and accelerates better than a bimmer(depends how old school of what model)? Hmmm I come from a BMW owning family and I love my tC but I dunno about that man... My uncles 91 E30 Hellrot M3 will school my tC all day long even if i had upgraded suspension like im wanting to do.. my parents 02 5series will stomp my tC and handel better for a larger car...

 

lol you can do that with any car if u dont go overboard with the bodykit

 

Only mod I could see and here was his big ___ coffee can muffler out the back . When the light turned green, I punched it and got about a half block down and I was a good 4-5 car lengths away.

Not sure why I beat him if our car is sooo slooowwww. Maybe I am just a better driver then him

 

 

next time ask him to follow you to the freeway and let me know how fast you think your car is compared to his...
But if his was going for it then i am glad you won... i still havent been able to beat my friend in his spec-v... were pretty even for about a 1/8mi then his top end just kicks my ___

 

I shouldn't have a problem walking away from him with a ZPI stage 1.5 kit on my car now....
