I found a few results through Google. There is a PDF, 3056 pages long or so, at 4shared that says it's a 2005-2007 Scion xB repair manual. You have to register to get it, but it only takes a few minutes and you don't have to give up any important personal info. I downloaded and scanned the file and did not find any viruses, but you should always use caution when dealing with sites like these. At a glance it looks a bit confusing and possibly not entirely in order.

*sigh*

I fail to understand why everyone wanders 'round looking for the official Scion repair manuals when it has been repeatedly posted the 1st gen stuff is at http://ScionLife.com/Scion_Docs and has been for years.

The complete 2004-early '06 and the wiring manual for the '06.5 are there, since it changed from the earlier version.

At least take a look there, if you don't like what you see, you can wander off and look for something you would like better, but that's the factory manuals.

I have some others that are not listed, but no more for the xB1...

Tom

Tom, I was completely aware of the manual posted at that page as I had read the entire thread, but as far as I saw it was separated into tons of tiny PDFs rather than one complete one. (Yes, I know it's zipped--but a zipped directory is not the same as a single PDF.) I think plenty of people find it more convenient to work out of one file. It's just any fyi for those who do.

What manuals I have are available at http://ScionLife.org/Scion_Docs

I do not have xB2, tC2, xD, iQ, or FR-S manuals, only the original first generation manuals.

2006.6 xB use the 2004 repair manual and the separate 2006.5 wiring manual.

The signature of each of my posts also has a link to the manuals...

Yeah I just looked too. Car I'm interested in buying doesn't have it set I figured might as well familiarize myself with it.

jjv, there's some links up thread, but I found this a few minutes ago. Open directory of Scion xB Shop manual PDF's - Scion XB Forum
The link to download the zip is still active. Lotta files in there. Hope it helps.

I just bought an 06 xB myself two days ago. Polar white, 145K miles, as stock as it can get. One owner. Only things I can find wrong with mine are that the back seat headrests are completely missing (meh, don't care, I won't be riding in back LOL), it has a couple of small paint chips on the front and back bumpers, and the cig lighter doesn't work. I don't smoke, but once I swap the stock radio for something with USB included (so I can charge my phone), that won't bother me.

Red face MANUALS PLEASE!!!!!!! Need HELP!!!!!

I bought a 06 xB, for my wife, to replace a totaled 05 we bought new. My daughter now has the car and was planning on driving it through college. Well, the head gasket blew at 180K. So, bought a JDM engine with 45K on it, and I am in the process of swapping the engines out, but stuck with the rear engine mount. I have looked up stuff online until my fingers have all most bled. I have all motor mounts loose. Everything is disconnected. I have taken the 1 bolt and the 2 nuts going through the crossmember, but even raising the engine, I still cant get it out. I really need some help on this one. If anyone has ANY tips or documentation on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Lyn
