Default Custom offset/flushness...

debating back and forth with the misses and convinced her to see it my way but having a problem with the offsets want a wheel that is flush going the bippu route for next show season going for a 2" step lipped wheel that offers a selction in offsets of
+20 +25 +30+35 +40

now my question

17x7.5 what offest would be best +20 +25 +30 +35 +40 for the wheel to sit flush
a 17 x 8 would be a +35 offset as my only option
they do sell this wheel in a 18x 8 inch wheel also with a +35

If I do the 8 inch wheel would it be flush with a +35 offset

any help as my wife just picked up her bonus check and I need to buy before the money is spent on underwear and tube socks (don't ask )

oh before I forget to help you pros out there we have drop the car on TRD springs.....

Thanks guy you really helped me alot.......

Springs / drop do not matter.

8.5 with 35 offset looks very flush and is great for a show car, but I would not drive out of a parking lot personally.

7.5 with 35 is as as I would go if you want to be able to drive around without too much of a chance of opening up your tire by your own sharp fender.

I like how 17x8 with 35 offset fit. might be the perfect sizing for the car.

So if I order a set of 18x7.5's, would I want a 35 or 45 offset?

35 will look better. I have 18x7.5 with 42 and I wish it was 35

Ok I am ordering some wheels tomorrow that are gonna be 18x7.5. My girl drives the xD so I need an offset friendly to her. The 17's I have on my car have a +45 offset and I love the way it looks. Would it work for the 18's too?

I ordered some Excel TZ-10 18x7.5 with a 35 offset and put em on with my springs. They rub just barely when I hit a dip going speed limit. They look nice and it won't be an issue when I roll the fender lip...but I think 45 offset with a 5mm spacer might be the way to go. I'm no expert tho, where's Zoltiz when you need him :D

Yup. Safe and looks ok.

I have 18x7.5 with 42 offset - works like a charm.
