Default Scion head units in Toyota Echos

Do all Scion head units work with Toyota Echo's?

I've been lurking around and searching other forums, but there's no mention of which years and which year Echos.

I'm planning on putting it into a 2005 Echo

Well, I actually installed a Scion 6-disc changer into my 1985 Corolla GT-S. I just used a harness adapter to convert the plug and then bolted it in. Loved it!

It would be nice to know if it was a direct install for the Echo, though!

I have a 2005 1cd Scion HU that was a direct fit into my echo, the factory toyota harness fit perfectly, and the mounting plates lined up perfectly. takes like 15mins max to install

Yes, the Scion stereo is compatible with the Echo. I've put a 6-disc and now the new **** control single disc into my car with no trouble.
